Kimball Distributing was founded in 2006 expressly to fill a void in the North Texas market for quality DSD service for new or emerging brands that couldn’t get on the corporately owned trucks of the major beverage suppliers.
We quickly found our niche; searching out healthy, better for you beverages that many consumers were looking for as the downturn of unhealthy, highly sugared beverages began.
In our quest for these beverages, we found all sorts of people seeking their fortune in the beverage business. After meeting many and doing business with a few we found it necessary to define ourselves to help us seek out like-minded individuals and companies.
The cornerstones of our beliefs are centered on honesty and integrity. We value transparency and a sincere caring for people around us, in the business, our employees, and businesses of all types, that we both sell to and purchase from.
Our list of credentials, awards, and certificates rest in the hearts and minds of our employees, customers, and suppliers.
I grew up an Air Force brat; my mom, sister and I followed my dad around the world including Germany, Morocco, and most of the then 48 states. Fort Worth, TX, was always home base and where I played High School football and earned a scholarship to Kansas University. I earned BSBA and MSBA degrees at KU, then went into Marketing for Northern Natural Gas in Omaha, Nebraska, selling natural gas to Local Distribution Companies and industrial customers from Texas to Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
As the natural gas industry deregulated, I left NNG in 1983, moved back to TX and founded Kimball Energy Corporation, a natural gas marketing company serving natural gas producers and industrial and utility customers in the Pacific Northwest. As 9-11 and the Enron bankruptcy changed the natural gas industry, I sold the assets of KEC, and in 2006 with a fellow Football official, founded the company which has become Kimball Distributing Inc.
I am blessed to work with a staff of highly ethical and talented people who have the knowledge and experience necessary to serve our customers, our suppliers and our employees in mutually rewarding and profitable ways. I am also blessed to have a loving wife, daughter, son and three grandchildren who have been very supportive throughout my career. While In Nebraska, and later in Texas, I officiated High School, small college, and semi-professional football, an avocation I enjoyed for over 40 years. I also enjoy bicycle riding and skiing but have given up golf which was a passion for many years.
Vice President/General Manager
I’ve loved the beverage business for a long, long time, a business where you can win every single day. My beverage experiences include route delivery, route sales, pre-sell, fountain sales, key accounts, division manager and general manager for some truly great companies that include PBG, Mesa Beverage, Sunkist Soft Drinks, Dr. Pepper Company, Magnolia Coke, Great Plains Coke and finally Kimball Distributing and a lot of truly great people in those companies.
To me, the best thing about KDI is being part of shared dreams about what kind of company we can make. This company’s cornerstones are honesty, integrity, and the golden rule and that’s who we hire! We search out suppliers that share those same values, Family, God, and Country. We’ve set lofty goals; best in class customer service providers; best in class pay for our associates; best working environment; helping each other win every single day. This place is awesome!
Grace, my wife of 24 years makes spending time at home wonderful, and our K9 kids, Molly and Jake help us enjoy the country life. I relax by reading, trying to work on my old, hot rod truck and making my yard beautiful.
Vice-President of Operations
I wake up every morning and can’t believe how lucky I am to have such a great wife, terrific daughter and to be part of this amazing team of wonderful people here at KDI. Building the kind of company where people can enjoy success, trust each other and have a little fun along the way has been my goal over the past decade.
My lifelong path in the beverage business working with outstanding companies like Coke, Pepsi, Snapple, and others has allowed me to serve in numerous capacities where I learned that building positive relationships is the cornerstone of successful organizations.
I am honored to have had the pleasure of working with amazing people throughout my career and any success I have had is due in large part to their friendship and counsel.

I oversee all aspects of the company’s finances, including the development and management of budgets, preparation of financial statements and reports for the company’s board, and integrate and coordinate functions of administrative, finance, sales and marketing departments.
Believing in the integrity of the work I do and being helpful to the needs of others motivates me. I like knowing that I’m appreciated, because I give every job my all, and I also like knowing that the work I’m doing is producing results that matter to KDI and its employees.
I earned a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the Philippine School of Business Administration. Knowing education doesn’t end at graduation, I strive to stay current in the subjects of accounting, technology, taxation, and human resources procedures and policies.
Prior to joining Kimball Distributing Inc. in 2007, I ran my own wholesale and retail
cell phone business in Manila, Philippines. After meeting my husband, I migrated to the U.S. and married the man of my dreams. I have a step-daughter in college, Sarah, and a karate champ son, David Jr., in grade school. My family is my greatest blessing and treasure.
When I am not working, I love to spend time with my family, traveling (especially to the Philippines), go camping, dance and sing karaoke.
